First of all wrong information regarding warranty which could have been addressed by the CEO himself who, clearly doesn’t want to let anyone know (Doug). I even let it be known that I was unhappy and wante could have been addressed by the CEO himself who, clearly doesn’t want to let anyone know (Doug). I even let it be known that I was unhappy and wanted my deposit back. He said it was up to my sales rep ( the deposit was literally given 5 mins prior to meeting on financing). He made no effort to override the situation at the time seeing though he was THE CEO the entire time and my sales rep acknowledged he gave incorrect info. Also really went as far as asking if they had any comparable vehicles on the lot below the mileage “effort”?. To keep my sale the “Manager” offered me a lifetime engine warranty, but the paper signed had no override of the mileage. I then asked for him to reach out through my sales rep on numerous occasions to get in writing that it is valid though the mileage was over stated mileage. It has been a month with no answer. They sent no check with my registration, which meant I was charged out of pocket, I knew that I paid for this fee in my financing. I had to reach out to them for a check for a refund (if I hadn’t I’m sure they would have never let it be known). Now I knew I only had 1250 miles in the used basic warranty reached out to service on a few concerns with belt or fan in engine. Told them I need a rental and that I only had up to certain mileage and if they couldn’t accommodate I didn’t want that held against me. It has been a week and have not heard a word from service on when they even anticipate seeing my vehicle! Now the day I test drove the vehicle it was a dark rainy night. I didn’t have a chance to see all the blemishes, one thing I will say is they made ZERO efforts to get any minor dent out. I understand buying a used car you can expect some minor blemishes but when I went to pick up the vehicle it was detailed I looked at the sales guy and he acted as if he had no clue, I’m like they really put no effort into taking not one dent out even some that you could see were able to be popped back out from inside. I guess, I assumed they would want people to return to this dealership in the future, judging by the secret CEO and lack of acknowledgment of your wrong doing and taking responsibility is not something they take accountability for. Making someone feel as though you did your best to make things right, matters in return of or recommending them in the future. I was in a situation where I had a new job and needed a better vehicle asap at a certain price range, if not for that I would have never chosen this dealership. I have been looking for months casually but when the sudden need came up I couldn’t find the needs elsewhere and the market being the way it has due to COVID. But what I know now and they way things are it’s a hard NO for me. Will they work to change my mind? I’m going to go with a slim to nine chance, judging by what has transpired thus far. More
