Inquired about a certified 911, saw steering wheel with some damage on the web pictures but manager confirmed prior to me traveling to vehicle that nothing was wrong with steering wheel, I get there and in some damage on the web pictures but manager confirmed prior to me traveling to vehicle that nothing was wrong with steering wheel, I get there and indeed it was scuffed, they had a guy “repair” it on site, 2 weeks later, scuff came back out. I have a scuffed steering wheel after manager confirmed it was fixed. Had to jump start vehicle 5 days into having it, tested battery at another Porsche Service, battery was no good and not under warranty since it was about 4 yrs old. Vehicle was delivered with severe wax residue in the crevices, oil like residue in the rear of vehicle, and just a poor detail job. This was on a Certified 2020 911 cabriolet.. Overall I was very pleased with the purchase experience of a new Panamera at the time of purchase. However, in closing the deal, Porsche of Panamera sold me a contract for protecting the finish on the vehi of a new Panamera at the time of purchase. However, in closing the deal, Porsche of Panamera sold me a contract for protecting the finish on the vehicle. They knew that I lived in Tampa, over four hours round trip just for the driving time. Yet they repeatedly told me that all warranty and service could be performed at a local Tampa dealer. They failed to tell me that I would have to return to Ocala several times per year in order to have the "Auto Butler" refinish applied. When I recently brought this issue to their attention, they offered absolutely no resolution. If I want to use the service, I have to waste an entire day. In retrospect, I conclude that selling me the "Auto Butler" was misrepresented. For that reason, I would not buy a vehicle from this dealership again, nor can I in good faith recommend them to anyone. More
