He was willing to change things up when I decided against a foreign car. Never made me feel like a burden. And was really helpful with helping me stay in my budget but still getting something nice. He was very professional and such a joy to talk to at the same time. He was very invested in me and my family. It was nice to have someone to laugh with while also getting things done. The dealership itself, very nice set up, loved the free coffee! Everybody had such a positive vibrant attitude and seemed to help each other out. Great community! I'm very glad I took the time to reach out to Moritz Pre Owned, especially Dave Pownall. I recently purchased a brand new 2022 midsize truck from another dealer at the end of April. Bottom line after a mont Owned, especially Dave Pownall. I recently purchased a brand new 2022 midsize truck from another dealer at the end of April. Bottom line after a month or so, I found out I was not fully satisfied with that truck. I accepted I was going to take a loss as well. After shopping several dealerships all over DFW and even as far away as San Antonio and Houston, for a new car that I could purchase and accept my losses on. I was consistently undercut by those places. Keep in mind, this truck of mine was still new and only had 3k miles on it, including the aftermarket accessories I had added. I found a 2020 Dodge Charger R/T at Moritz Pre Owned. It had low mileage and a more than fair asking price. I was ready to give up, but I started communicating with Dave through email, text, and phone. We discussed my situation and that I knew this Charger was the car I wanted. We discussed the sight unseen numbers for my truck and then I went in to see Dave. Upon arrival, I was greeted by other friendly folks, they connected me with Dave. We test drove the car and it wasn't just a drive a few blocks down the road and back in a couple minutes... We got on the highway, went down the road, went around a little scenic side street and back to Moritz, probably a good little drive of several miles allowing me to drive this vehicle at highway speeds, city speeds etc. Getting a better feel for the car. I decided to make the deal final and I was even worried about the financing issues since I just gotten my midsize truck, bought the wife a new truck, and then trying to trade mine now lol... Dave assured me they had a good team and things would work out. In the end, I was given an appraisal on my trade that I felt was fair, plus with the tax credits I was getting for the one I just purchased, it put me where I wanted to be. Also, I want to reaffirm, I was not insulted with the numbers Moritz offered like other dealerships and internet car buyers had given me lol. They provided me a realistic number to work with and discuss with them. Once I went to finance I worked with Bubba. We talked final numbers and discussed the rate provided by the lender for this purchase. I actually got a better APR on this used Charger than I had on the brand new truck I had bought in April. Naturally we discussed the warranties and other protections. In the end we got the numbers where I was comfortable with and the deal was done. When Dave picked me up from the finance office, he already had the car cleaned, detailed, and fueled. I honestly feel like this was one of the few best buying experiences I’ve had when it came to car buying. I will definitely be a return customer if they keep up what they’re doing here. It was a great experience. Thanks again for working with me and getting me in a ride I’m truly satisfied with now! More
