I bought a brand new BOLT EUV, and it broke down within 60 miles. This is my primary car to get back and forth to work (94mile round trip). Took it to El Dorado which is the closest of three dealers to m 60 miles. This is my primary car to get back and forth to work (94mile round trip). Took it to El Dorado which is the closest of three dealers to me that can service EVs. Well, they only have one EV guy, he was on vacation, and it took over a week to look at it because of Labor Day weekend. GM/Chevy wouldn't approve a loaner/rental car until a tech looked at the car. So I waited, bumming rides from friends and neighbors, or having my wife drive me back and forth for a week (she would have to make that trip twice a day and 188 miles/day), and then I get the standard "Could not repeat problem" and they called me to pick it up. The light was back on when they pulled the car up to the drive. Aux Transmission Oil Pump and Drive unit issue again. Still couldn't get authorization for a rental car. Next day, they looked at it, and said the part was on order on 9/6, and they wouldn't get it until 10/4. And guess what, no rental car approval yet. Finally got it on Friday and they said a car was on hold for me at Hertz on El Dorado. So...bum a ride to get down there, and Hertz said they didn't have any cars reserved for me, and no cars they could loan out. I left messages for the service manager, and never got a call back (David Kennedy). I picked up the car on 9/8, and having it towed into Huffines in Plano on 9/11, and they have a rental car ready for me, on site, to drive away in. This is the first Chevy I've owned, and it's been a horrible experience so far, and I don't even have 120 miles on the car total yet. And I know this is a common issue for Bolts plus a new car, it should have been an automatic rental car until they could look at it regardless. Huffines asked me to bring it to them on 9/1. I should have listened. I bought the car at Huffines, but would expect any dealership to care about their overall quality of vehicles. Now, I will say my service guy was friendly, and did try to help out somewhat, but was limited by "policy" and that they didn't have any rental cars on site, or loaners available. He said they had 80 people waiting for a rentals. But they also weren't very proactive at giving out information on status of repair of my car. I had to call and leave messages to get a reply, or text and wait for a few hours for a reply. It didn't seem like they were too busy...5 guys at counters and I was the only customer all three times I was physically there. More

Over 2 hour wait for a small part to be fixed and it was under warranty. I noticed my truck sitting out where it had been finished. Reached out to the service department about how much longer and all of s under warranty. I noticed my truck sitting out where it had been finished. Jim was great at finding the exact car I wanted and I got it lot quicker than expected. He did such a great job my husband went back the next week and bought a Blazer. I had an Outlander with 3rd row seati it lot quicker than expected. He did such a great job my husband went back the next week and bought a Blazer. I had an Outlander with 3rd row seating for 8 years and was worried about transitioning to a smaller SUV. The interior does not feel cramped at all and it is a lot easier to park. More
