Recently, I took my vehicle for a “one day repair”, all cosmetic. My original appointment was for Friday the 3rd but was told I could take my vehicle in the day prior if needed. When I arrived on Thursday, cosmetic. My original appointment was for Friday the 3rd but was told I could take my vehicle in the day prior if needed. When I arrived on Thursday, and informed them my appointment was for Friday at 7am, they had me wait for an hour to have someone check me in. I was not prioritized due to my appointment being the next day. So I left and rescheduled my appointment for Monday at 4pm & was okay with not having my vehicle until Tuesday afternoon. However, what was supposed to take one day took the entire week. David, who was the advisor in charge of my service, informed me that the part ordered did not fit my car and they there would be a delay. He never offered me a rental for the inconvenience or any other solution than “we can Uber you here to pick up your car and then when the part arrives we can Uber you back” neglecting the fact that I do not have the time to be going back and forth over a mistake that was not my fault. I thankfully found a car to use for the time being. David promised my car would be done Thursday. On Thursday, I spent the entire day waiting for an update on my vehicle, it wasn’t until I reached out that I was informed the part had not arrived and my car would again be delayed… I gave it one more try. David guaranteed that the technician would have my car done the following day. Friday comes I receive a call at 1:30, while I’m working, that there is an update and to call him back. When I called, David informed me that the technician working on my vehicle did not show up and they were “slammed” and no one else was able to work on my vehicle. After having my car the entire week, I finally refused the service and picked up my vehicle. There was no empathy from David or consideration at how this affected me. Had it not been for me having a car to use, how would I have gotten to work? Going back and forth to pick up my car and drop it off was his solution. Disregarding that I have work and other responsibilities to attend to and do not have all the time in the world to be going there and back as many times as they messed up. This would not have been as big of an issue had he taken ownership of this mess up and offered an actual solution other than “Uber”.. super frustrating and honestly this makes me not want to return to this location for future services. More
