My experience here was nothing short of appalling, the most egregiously unprofessional treatment I have ever received from any business, let alone a dealership I entrusted with thousands of dollars. I spent roughly a week in continuous communication with this dealership regarding a 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT. Throughout that time I conducted myself exactly as a serious, good-faith buyer should: I asked thorough questions, worked diligently through every detail, and made my intentions unmistakably clear. To demonstrate my commitment, I placed a $9,000 deposit. At any reputable establishment, a deposit secures the vehicle for the buyer. That is its entire purpose. Instead, after accepting my money, they sold the car to another buyer. Not a single person had the basic courtesy to inform me. I only discovered the truth when I called to check on the status of my paperwork. I had arranged my plans around this purchase, confident that my deposit carried weight. Evidently, it carried none. The aftermath was even more deplorable. I spoke with the General Manager, Mr. Webb, expecting at minimum a sincere apology and a coherent explanation. What I received instead was condescension, dismissiveness, and a stunning lack of professionalism. There was no accountability and no meaningful attempt to rectify the situation. His justification? That my deposit "held the price of the car, but not the car itself." No one ever disclosed that absurd distinction before taking my $9,000. It is a convenient technicality invented after the fact to excuse inexcusable conduct. When the individual running the dealership behaves this way, it reveals precisely how the entire operation functions. This failure did not originate with a salesperson; it flows directly from the top. To be fair, my deposit was eventually returned. However, a refund does not erase a squandered week, a broken commitment, or the contemptuous manner in which management treated me. Buying a vehicle is among the most significant purchases a person makes. You deserve a dealership that honors its word, communicates transparently, and extends basic respect to its customers. Kunes CDJR of Sycamore failed on every count. If you choose to do business here, secure every term in writing and do not assume your deposit protects you. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. More

Since June 9th the Ram i bought hasn't been registered and been sitting in storage. I've paid no less than 500$ a week for transportation using Uber and friends. They decided to do nothing about anything. We've been in a state of emergency in the city of Gary indiana and I had to order a Uber to transport myself and my family of 6 for food and electricity because the kunes dealership didn't complete their contract and my truck still has no registration and no way of getting it registered More

I will never recommend this dealership to anyone if you are buying a car. More
