We heard back from Josh Pollard the next day and he asked us to come down and test drive the 2018 Highlander; said he believed we could strike a deal. The vehicle was up front and ready. It performed like we expected it would. Josh had a proposal ready and we did strike a deal! We left with the vehicle about an hour or so after getting there. Josh had already talked to his Manager Dell Pauley who also took the time (after the sale) to talk to us for a good while and we got to know him pretty good as well. There's a fantastic group of people, very personable that work at Four Stars Toyota. We got the feeling of a good, honest dealership that we plan on doing business with for many years to come. We are out-of- towners and sadly we couldn't find the same customer care in the town we live in so we had to look elsewhere and we're glad we did. We also wanted to mention Gary Deeb who worked hard in getting us a comprehensive maintenance agreement for a great price to boot. My wife and I love the new SUV and plan to do some traveling. They are all extremely patient, knowledgeable, and transparent through the entire shopping and buying process. I must have gone in on five separate occasions trying to gauge price, compare colors/options/features/accessories, make up my mind on what I actually wanted vs. what I thought I wanted, and so on. Cristian was incredibly patient through the entire experience, across my many visits. On several occasions, I told him I wanted to keep thinking about the decision. He didn't try to chase me as I left, ask what it would take to get me to buy today, or any other acts of dealer desperation; we simply put a pin in the deal where we left off, and I came back later (this happened 3 or 4 times). When I finally came to my decision, all of the terms and trade-in value previously negotiated were honored without question or hesitation. When Cristian got tied up with another customer, John kept me company as I crawled around a 4Runner inside and out. (It was below freezing that day, so they brought what I wanted into the service bay so I could take as long as I needed without freezing). John is extremely friendly, knowledgeable about all things Toyota, and was simply a pleasure to talk to. The negotiations weren't stressful or pressuring, despite how deep I tried to cut them on the price I was willing to pay. Dell was very transparent about pricing, costs, and so on, and didn't try to BS me in any way, alter any of the financing terms or hide pricing to make it look like I was paying less just to make a deal. He was very straight forward, and didn't try any of the usual dealer tricks like, "I'm actually losing money selling it you at this price..." or any of that other nonsense. We were able to work out a great deal on a 2018 4Runner I bought, and the Tacoma I traded in. I used USAA's Car Buying service, which made things even easier for all of us, and secured me the best deal possible. My financing was pre-arranged with USAA so the actual buying process took all of 5 minutes. They offered insurance and warranty options, but didn't try to push upgrades or make any attempt to squeeze more money out of the deal. Cristian, John, and Dell made for a great experience, and certainly worked hard to earn the business they deserve. Kelly, the owner, talked to me a few times throughout the process, and was also a pleasure to talk to. I can't say enough great things about everyone here!! Car salesman are like lawyers; 99% give the rest a bad name. The crew at Four Stars Toyota is definitely in the 1% that doesn't deserve the stereotype, and I would recommend them to anyone! More
