We have a 2020 Ford Ecosport that had a recall. I set up this service while we were out of the state leaving the service center plenty of time to complete the recall work. The gentleman I spoke with even said they would leave it outside the fenced in area so we could pick up on our way home. We dropped it off on September 5th. He stated they would call that the work was complete. I called the following Friday to check on it. I was told the recall work was not yet completed, and may not be available on the next Monday. I reminded the service center that is why I left it there while we were gone, and I worked Monday morning. He commented they couldn't hold a Enterprise rental over the weekend. After stating my displeasure, and getting no where I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then on the line with a female employee(supervisor), and explained my situation. Before she could answer the previous service center employee was on the line and stated 'yes, we can put you in one of our cars'. I stated 'that's great'. A solution was found. We arrived at the service center at 733am that Monday morning to pick up a loaner vehicle, and was told by the service center that Enterprise wasn't open yet. I had to remind this employee of my discussion with him just 3 days before. The female employee behind the parts desk set us up in a beautiful 2025 Lincoln Corsair as a loaner. We were able to pick up our Ecosport on Tuesday, and took it home. On Wednesday we had medical appts, and noticed a shuddering when we were accelerating. We were able to get it back to the service center, and a service technician took us for a ride. Of course it didn't do it for him. As we pulled into the dealership lot the technician recalled that a there is a programming step for the recall fix which may cause the shuddering issue. We're on our 5th Ford vehicle. i was in a tight spot. I made a cold call and was treated like family. Lacey, my concierge, and Demi were super helpful - again, I was in a tight spot and they made everything work to my satisfaction. Brent called me direct to be sure I understood all the issues and Dj, in customer service noted all my issues and called regularly to keep me informed of progress. The Service Writer told to expect a 1. 5-2 hour wait. About an hour later he came into the Waiting Room and said everything was ready to go. This is great customer service when you set expectations and then exceed them. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. I was allowed to bring my little Jack Russell in, and she was the hit of the dealership. Everyone came over to say hello-she had a great time. All in all, this was a great experience. More
