We loved Derek. He was patient and kind and was able to answer everything we through at him. He didn't pressure us and honestly, it was the best car buying experie He was patient and kind and was able to answer everything we through at him. He didn't pressure us and honestly, it was the best car buying experience we have ever had and we are 65+ years old so there have been many!! He is what all sales people should aspire to be. We didn't take the vehicle that day, April 18th because Mullinex had just gotten it in and they needed to inspect it and ready it for sale. We didn't mind as we live about 1 hour away and would rather have a ready-to-go vehicle. That was April 18th On the following Weds. April 23rd, we picked it up. The next day I had to drive it to a doctor appointment and that's when the trouble started. It had a significant shimmy. I told my husband that he needed to take it for a ride, after work, and he wasn't pleased. It definitely had a shimmy and needed to be looked at. We were told to bring it back on Tuesday the 29th of April. I took it back and they discovered a front tire was faulty, on the inside. They agreed they would replace the front two tires. On Tuesday May 6th I text Derek to see if he could find out what was going on with the tires. The service person Zee called and said that someone had dropped the ball and the tires didn't get ordered. I was able to give her the correct tire size and brand and the information she needed. Finally Weds , April 8th she called to say the tires were in and I could get them put on the following Tuesday. We had waited long enough and weren't driving the vehicle due to the shimmy. I wasn't unpleasant but I did give a heavy sigh. That was when Zee got pretty snippy and asked when I would like to come in a less than polite tone. I said well,Zee, I believe we have waited long enough. She said she could "fit me in the following day" and I said okay, what time? Her response ...the earlier the better. I again asked what time and she said "we open at 7:30" and I stupidly said..I'll be there. The more I thought about it, the more angry I got. I sent a message for Derek to please call me when he had a minute, and that I was about to to lose it!! I told him what had transpired and that in rush hour traffic it would take me over an hour to get there and I thought about it and decided that I was not going to do that. Derek, being the professional that he is, was awesome and agreed that that wasn't a great time due to AM traffic. He spoke with Zee and she called back saying that 8:30 to 9:00 am was fine. I was at the dealership on time and got the tires, however, when my husband looked at them after work that day he noticed they were different than the tires I gave her the information on. The tires are rated for a heavier payload and even though they are the same numerical size, they are a bit taller and a bit wider due to thicker tread. Today I went and bought 2 new matching tires for the rear because quite frankly I am over it and just want 4 tires that are the same. It cost me 606.00 plus installation. I would definitely recommend Derek but the rest of the experience was less than acceptable. More

I bought an F150 XLT in 2017, dealt with Shawn Ewbanks, who was great. The entire process was fantastic, so in 2024 when ready to trade, I came back. This time I had the pleasure of dealing with Derek Anl who was great. The entire process was fantastic, so in 2024 when ready to trade, I came back. This time I had the pleasure of dealing with Derek Anlage. I could not have been happier with the service and expertise that Derek gave me. I looked around at other dealerships, but no one met Mullinax quality in knowledge and service, thus I came back for my second F150 with Mullinax. I tell everyone how pleased I have been! More
