This was my first experience with Steven Ford, and it was pretty good. I came to have “The Works” done on my F150 and, while I was waiting, to look into buying a new Transit van. My F150 was taken in promptly at my appointment time and the work was finished in about an hour. My dealings with service writer Doug Meadows and briefly with one other service writer who assisted Doug was excellent. So service wise my experience with Steven Ford was excellent, and it is likely I will come back for my next 5,000 mile oil change, when I will also have my worn brakes repaired and my tires replaced. My experience in Sales was pretty good but not flawless. I had a 10am appointment with Conner, of which I was reminded during the preceding week about a DOZEN times by phone, text and email (very annoying), but when I got there Conner was with another customer and could not see me. Perhaps all those reminders should have gone to him instead of me. But no big deal. I was soon put with Trip Moore, a clean cut, courteous, agreeable and striving young man from whom, the more he worked with me, I came to very much want to buy a van. Although he had been on the job only a month, he did a fine job showing, explaining and test driving with me the one Transit that was in stock. Made me want to buy. However, I had come with a list of features I wanted on my Transit which required it to be special ordered, so now Trip began a one man track meet in which he ran uncomplainingly back and forth between me and his boss, I guess, trying get a quote on what I wanted. I was struck by how many dashes it took him to finally get the particulars right, even though I had provided a clear list printed off the Ford website. Finally it was finished for more money than I had hoped but about what I had expected, and I went home to think about it. I then noticed the quote was for an extended length van, not the long length I asked for. Oh well, easy to fix. Overall I was impressed with the dealership. It appeared to be very well managed. EVERYONE that came within 20 feet greeted me with a hello and a smile and was quick to help me in any way, like the guy who didn’t just point to where the coffee is but took me there and showed how to do it. Derek, introducing himself as “one of the managers,” made a point of speaking to me and letting me know he was there to help - pleasant and professional. I saw lots of small things done right, including the coffee which was delicious. The facility was a clean and orderly place to be and easy to use. The men’s room was pleasant and clean. I rated the dealership four stars instead of five because of the ridiculous to the point of disgusting number of calls, texts and emails I got before my appointment and afterwards. That needs to be cut way back as it is very annoying and off putting. In the end, however, I will certainly be back for service and maybe to buy a vehicle. More

Thank you to Tripp, Derek, Matt, and Harry, who each worked with me at some point during the purchase of my new Ford Expedition. I was able to test-drive each vehicle more than once, Tripp answered every question I had, and gave me detailed information on each vehicle when I couldn’t make up my mind between two trims. He even helped me clean out my old vehicle and transfer my Costco haul into my new Expedition :) I have already been back twice, once to drop off a key and once to get assistance with some of the features on my Expedition, and every staff member I’ve encountered has been friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to Steven Ford, and to Tripp, for any future vehicle purchases or service needs! More
