Because your credit file was locked at the time of purchase, our team’s options were limited to lenders that could review alternative bureaus. This did restrict the financing choices available, and we understand how that created frustration. We did make sure to explain that there would be no pre-payment penalty, and we’re pleased you were able to pay the loan off much sooner than the full term. While the disclosure of total loan interest is required on contracts, it does not reflect what you actually end up paying when the loan is paid early, as you chose to do.
