A Great Deal/Trade In I have been looking for a very rare car, a 2011 to 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with a manual transmission. Further, I wanted very low mileage, which is I have been looking for a very rare car, a 2011 to 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with a manual transmission. Further, I wanted very low mileage, which is uncommon for a car that is seven years old. Typically, in a nationwide on-line search, there might be 10 such cars available, most with higher mileage and/or higher prices that I wanted. Modern Motorcars just picked up exactly the car I wanted, and the day is showed up on the internet search, I called and scheduled an appointment with Jason. When I arrived on time, there was the car, sitting in their driveway, ready for a test drive. I was trading one rare car for another, a 2006 Cadillac XLR-V (only 2,000 were ever made), so it was an interesting transaction. I had purchased the car for $38,000, and hoped to get at least $38,000 in trade after owning it for three years. Modern Motorcars absolutely lived up to their advertisements and reputation--they sold me a 2011 Cadillac CTS-V with 8,500 miles for exactly their list price. They were very good in the negotiations, almost hitting my goal for the trade in (they gave me $37,500, only $500 less than I hoped). Throughout the discussions, they were gracious, with no pressure, and before we were done, Don came out, chatted and gave me a handshake to seal the deal. And I was in and out of the dealership in 90 minutes. Awesome. You won't find these kind of people or this kind of efficiency at a standard car dealer. If they have a car you want, you really owe it to yourself to call Jason or any of the other goods folks at Modern Motors. Plus, these guys are really car guys, and know their stuff. More
