Being Charged a 2% Credit Card Markup is UNFAIR! !! I was charged a 2% add on because I paid the +$300 bill with a credit card. I do not think that is a good business practice considering, that mos !! I was charged a 2% add on because I paid the +$300 bill with a credit card. I do not think that is a good business practice considering, that most people don't walk around with $300 of ready cash to pay a large bill. I like most people, pay off all my debts at the end of the month. I have ZERO debt. So, I only use a card to park an expense long enough to transfer from my savings to pay the card. When you unfairly charge a customer for using credit, you are taking an unearned interest payment that in my case was worth $6. That encourages me to do business elsewhere. Have a Great Day! More
