I've lived in Shelbyville for 33 years and I plan to be here for the rest of my life. I spent the first 25 years here as a full-time pastor, then five as a bi-vocational pastor. Now, I'm retired (though I still speak as a fill-in). For the last eight years, I've loved helping people with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives -- a vehicle purchase. At Newton -- and from me -- you'll get an honest, no-hassle, no-pressure experience. My goal is to serve every customer as if they lived across the street from me! When I'm not at work, you'll find me with my wife of 42 years or my five children, ages 25 to 38 -- or my eight grandchildren (and counting!)

I purchased a new 2021 Buick EnClave from another dealership but I found in a few months it was much larger than I expected. I did enjoy many of the perks that were included like 360 degree cameras a dealership but I found in a few months it was much larger than I expected. I did enjoy many of the perks that were included like 360 degree cameras and cool air.in the seats and steering wheel, also blind spot warning light on the side mirrors. I got an offer in a letter from Newton GMC, Chevrolet, Buick etc. So I took a drive to Shelbyville met Drew and drove a 2022 Equinox which I hated, it's too cramped up front for me. Now remember this is a personal choice, my best friend has an Equinox and loves it. There is so much room up front in a Buick. It so happened that they had a 2020 Buick Envision traded in, certified used car. I drove it and ended up trading with Drew and I added a 7 year bumper to bumper warranty. Just to finalize. I left driving the perfect sized car for me and although I did miss a few of the perks. I am very happy with my almost new Buick. Oh by the way they paid off my Enclave so I don't have a car payment, that's a deal too good to not jump in. My adventure has ended right now but I plan to talk with Drew again, when I have new or nearly new car fever.again. More

Read the great reviews. Found the Buick Enclave I wanted. I live 1.5 hours south of this dealer. Called to make sure the vehicle was still available. Was hung up on the first three times I called (6:34pm, 6:35pm, 6:36pm) Finally reach someone at 6:53pm. Lady said she would check and said yes it was available. Great I drove up Thursday 5/12/2022 with cash in hand. Pulled into the dealership and was greeted at my car by a gentlemen. I told him the vehicle I wanted to see. He told me that it had sold the week before BUT THAT HE WOULD BE HAPPY TO SHOW ME SOMETHING ELSE!!! CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH! I said I called 5/11/2022 and was told it was still available and it was still listed on several internet car sites such as cargurus, autotrader, etc including their own website!!! The guy told me that it takes a while for the sites to be updated. The Carfax reports even shows that the vehicle was purchased by the third owner on 5/6/2022. I have saved all the information that is still posted at 8:46pm 5/14/2022. I never stepped out of my car; just turned around and drove back home. Well I found another vehicle today and paid cash. When I returned home a couple of hours later, the car that I bought TODAY was no longer posted on the various websites; did not take over a week to update like the case with Newton Chevrolet Buick GMC (it is still there; I will watch to see how much longer they will keep it online) On Cargurus for the vehicle I bought today I received a message "Looks like that one got away—Here are some similar options:". Just looked again and Newton Chevrolet Buick GMC still has the "2015 Buick Enclave Leather FWD Shelbyville, TN" STILL LISTED!!! Not only did I not get the "available" vehicle. Newton Chevrolet Buick GMC wasted my TIME and money and gas is certainly not cheap currently. I have documented this whole mess in great detail. Will use these artifacts to file a complaint on BBB, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC. Maybe even their local Chamber of Commerce. More
