I was very happy with the drop service and also receiving text messages about my vehicle. I do not have enough experience with this dealership to give a full rating. I will say that the the delivery and paperwork for my vehicle went poorly and the first oil change wasn't the smooth experience I give a full rating. Customer service sells. People can have their vehicles serviced at many different shops around the area but people appreciate the customer service. Though Affenberg Ford Nor People can have their vehicles serviced at many different shops around the area but people appreciate the customer service. Though Affenberg Ford North has gotten much better in the customer service area, they are still really lacking. Though I am sure my vehicle was serviced properly (because I have no evidence telling me that it wasn't), the frustration that one must go through with the "Service Managers" is almost too much. There was no service report provided to me (digitally or on paper). I had to ask for it and the service manager couldn't figure out how to send it to me digitally nor could he figure out how to properly print it. The service manager asked if I knew where my vehicle was (for the pick up), I told him no and he said it was somewhere out there (pointing to the back lot). When I found my vehicle, the technician had left the seat plastic and paper foot guard in my vehicle. As I do appreciate that they use it, I don't appreciate that they leave it in my vehicle. When I returned it to the service manager and told him what I found in my vehicle, he said, "I am sure they didn't do it." I stared at him with the "trash" in my hand as I handed it to him. He then said "I am sure they didn't do it on purpose." As a customer service person, he should have at least apologized for the trash in my vehicle. But instead he decided not to. From the time I dropped my vehicle off to the time I picked it up, the service manager was not a friendly person. I suggest the company further "refresh" to the service managers job clarification and knowledge of the customer's vehicle and/or situation in the future to provide that very important customer service aspect that evidently is missing, especially at the particular Auffenberg Ford dealership. More
