My new 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid leaks water in the cab. Bend Honda wants to charge me $400 to find the leak. This is a new car! More

We're sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your new car. We were informed at the time of making the appointment that the windshield had been replaced twice by a 3rd party vendor and the water leak has been occurring ever since. We will be happy to submit anything unrelated to the windshield repairs for warranty coverage from Honda. Please reach out at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Benjamin Thornton - Service Manager - bthornton@lithia.com

The car was purchased during summer, when there were no rain. The windshield was replaced during summer. Because there continued to be leaking of water in the cab once the rains came, the windshield replacement company replaced it a second time, at their cost. Now, there is still leaking. I believe this is not a windshield issue, but a different issue. I would like Honda to fix this at their expense .

Nov 04, 2026 -

Bend Honda responded

Thank you for the additional context. I hear your concerns regarding the ongoing water leak and your belief that the issue may be unrelated to the windshield replacement. I'd encourage you to reach out to me directly so we can discuss the situation further and review the concerns you've raised. Please contact me at bthornton@lithia.com at your convenience. Thank you Benjamin Thornton - Service Manager - bthornton@lithia.com
