Really like working with Edwin. He listened to me, and worked to make it an easy transaction. Like most people I find the dealer process out of step with the times and pretty old He listened to me, and worked to make it an easy transaction. Like most people I find the dealer process out of step with the times and pretty old school selling tactics. As a professional, I don’t appreciate the leverage tactics from 1999s. I think they are insulting. But a great salesperson like Edwin makes all the difference. To be fair to the Shomp dealership, their pricing is generally better than others even if their process is a bit cringy. But dealerships amiright? More

Good price, horrid customer service and damaged property. I called to setup an appointment with a salesperson, Eddie, at 3pm. I texted him to let him know I was running 15 mins late as I hit traffic comin I called to setup an appointment with a salesperson, Eddie, at 3pm. I texted him to let him know I was running 15 mins late as I hit traffic coming from Thornton and he said no problem, he was working with some other people at that time anyways. By 3:19pm he said: “ You almost here? There is a few people wanting the car and I won’t be able to hold it much longer” Got there at 3:25 and had to wait 10 mins to see someone anyways. Liked the car and proceeded with the purchase. Then when it came to the extra warranty and coverage BS, Eddie was the most pushy salesperson I had ever worked with. He spent about 5 mins arguing with me on how I needed GAP insurance and how it’s a mistake if I don’t purchase it until I reminded him that my loan is only $13k on a $30k car. And to cap it all off… the car I traded in had aftermarket wheels and I promised to return with the factory wheels and tires. I followed through exactly when I said I would and he texted me later to say my wheels, which I provided covers and pads for, were stacked by the front door. When I arrived, I noticed most of the pads were not used and the wheel on the bottom was placed face down on the rocks without its pad, with the weight of three other wheels and tires stacked on it. The face of the wheel is now speckled with chips, haven’t bothered to check the rest yet. This was by far the most disappointing car buying experience I’ve been a part of. More
