I thought it could be patched, as nail was in the near center of the thread. I was told, it couldn't be patched or guaranteed and I would need a new tire. The tire was $311.00...No I'm not happy as I wasn't even given the opportunity to keep my old tire... My rental, with 7,700 miles and no what so ever, discount, price reduction is upsetting.. Why did they say that I needed to have a new tire? Why wasn't I able to keep my old tire? I was an excellent customer, rental car with low mileage and not given any opportunity to have the tire patched or given the used tire back.... I'm upset that I felt like "buy a new tire or else". By the way, all my tires looked brand new.... ☹️ More
