2 years ago I bought a Jeep Wrangler from Cerritos - it was overall a pretty laughable experience, but not terrible enough to deter me from finishing the transaction. I had to deal with a manager that did was overall a pretty laughable experience, but not terrible enough to deter me from finishing the transaction. I had to deal with a manager that did not know how to structure a lease, a finance manager that refused to type my paperwork and make me sit for almost 2 hours (despite no other customer being present) and no other part of their sales staff being aware that I was even there to pick up my car. Was handed a brand new Jeep with cob webs on the wheels and dust everywhere. Fast forward to now, my lease is up in a month. I reached out to Cerritos to not only buy one car, but I need a 2nd one as well to replace another lease. A normal dealer would see a repeat client and a 2 car deal and be thrilled! At the very least they would show SOME sort of motivation. Not Cerritos CDJR. After inquiring almost 3 weeks ago, I got a handful of AI generated generic follow up texts (no other actual response) and finally - a quote with #s higher than advertised online (FTC Violation much?) When I asked them to reference previous communication? I was called unreasonable. I am the unreasonable one for reaching out to buy 2 cars, and waiting 21 full days to receive any of the info I asked for. And I am unreasonable for not wanting to pay over MSRP for a car they have had sitting for over 400 days in stock. The bar is very low for CDJR dealers, but in a sea of morons - Cerritos CDJR really takes 1st place. More
