The customer is always right. Not in my case. He covered up for his incompetent mechanic. Their incompetence could cost me my life because of a problem they created. The fuel pump More

Thank you for your feedback. I want to start by apologizing for the frustration and concern this experience caused you. I personally spoke with you along with our Service Manager, Eric, and we do understand why you were upset. At the same time, I also feel it is important for anyone reading this to understand our side of the situation. When the vehicle came to us, it had already been worked on extensively, and much of it was in poor condition. We explained what it would take to properly repair everything, and those recommendations were fully documented on your receipt. Unfortunately, you chose not to approve that additional work. When you picked the vehicle up, Eric and our team explained several times that certain repairs still needed to be completed before the vehicle could be driven. Eric was not trying to cover for a technician — he was simply re-explaining what was already documented. While we regret how things unfolded, I want to assure you and others that safety is always our top priority. We take these matters seriously, and our family’s reputation of over 30 years in this community has been built on taking care of people with integrity.

First off I was told that the car was running. I said that I would come and get it. I was told there was three wires that had not been wired that went to the gas gauge. I said that I would wire the 3 small wires myself in stead of paying another 1 hours fee. Then was told that there was a recall on the Evac canister and they it would be ready later on. I returned and paid the bill. I was never told that it was dangerous to drive because they had only twisted the wire and wrapped on electrical tape. As I opened the door I smelled gas fumes and I assumed that they had pulled the fuel pump out to check that it was running. I drove it home with the windows open because of the fumes. I soldered the 3 small wires. Everything thing worked fine. My son filled the tank up and drove it back home. The next morning I smelled gas. I looked under the car and there was gas leaking out. I called and told the dealership that the gasket wasn’t installed properly, and I was not going to drive it due to the fumes and the leak. I asked for another gasket and I would install it myself. I went to the dealership and complained about the gasket not being installed properly. The service manager told me that the mechanic used the old gasket and proper tool to install the retainer ring, that the did a Smoke test to check for leaks. I told the service manager that I has soldered the 3 wires and he said that what his mechanic would do aslo. He said that when my son filled the tank that it caused the gasket to blow out. I have spoken to several mechanics on this possibility and was told there is no way. Also the retainer ring was not locked in place, which I have multiple pictures of both gasket and retainer ring. The next day my son went to work and the car broke down and wouldn’t start again. I went to his work and discovered the twisted ground wire was coming undo. I got the car home and discovered the the ground wiring on the center of the plug was burnt because the ground wire had mot been properly connected for me to have drove it in the first place. The lack of not providing me with this of information could have been devastating to my life. First fuel leaking inside car and the wires that burned up a $505.00 fuel pump. Because of your lack of telling me the wiring was not safe to drive, I have had to purchase another $505.00 fuel pump, which I have installed properly. My life and my son’s life is not worth your business.
