The staff at Ken Garff Hyundai Southtowne was extremely professional. They were very straightforward about the pricing details (MSRP, Tax, Title, License, etc.) of the car I was interested in. The sales experience was excellent—no pressure at all while we explored and test drove two different vehicles. Financing was smooth and hassle-free. Unfortunately, the service department’s follow-up has been extremely disappointing. We needed immediate service at the Ford location in West Valley right after purchase, and the issue remains unresolved even after seven weeks. Southtowne’s service team failed to communicate throughout the process. We received no updates and had to repeatedly call just to find out where our vehicle was. There was a complete breakdown in communication and accountability. Thankfully, we connected with Brandon at the West Valley store, who has been outstanding. He’s continued to support us long after the sale, and we’re still working with him to get things resolved. It would have made a world of difference if someone from Southtowne had simply reached out. More

I test drove a used car they had on the lot and decided I wanted it but had to sell my truck before I committed to the purchase. Jay the sales rep was being very helpful and said I’d be able to put a down pa wanted it but had to sell my truck before I committed to the purchase. Jay the sales rep was being very helpful and said I’d be able to put a down payment of $1000 to reserve it (non refundable) which is a common practice in dealerships. I said yes, thinking it wouldn’t be a problem. Freddy the sales manager then came along and was questioning me about when I’d be selling the truck and was being very abrasive, basically saying many people are going to be interested in this car and if i couldn't sell my truck the next day id be xxxx out of luck. Making reservations doesn’t happen here, and Freddy is completely out of touch on how to work with potential clients and how to talk to people to make them feel welcome. More

Came in to buy a new Santa Cruz. There were sales people standing around, but no greeting or recognition. The phone lady finally asked what I wanted and I told her that I wanted to look at the Santa Cruz that was on the floor. She said that she would get a sales person. Freddy came over, but did not introduce himself or ask my name. He acted like I was bothering him. I asked a question that he did not know and wanted me to follow him to his desk. He had to look up my question on the computer which I could understand, but he was very cold about it. We talked a little more, but he still acted like I was bothering him. I finally left, but he did not leave me with his card or any other contact. Sorry to have bothered you, Freddy. I will go someplace else and buy one. More
