Having rest warranty work done on my Jeep. Service person, Freddy. After bringing in my jeep, we did not hear anything from him for 2 to 3 weeks so we called and left a message to find out wha Service person, Freddy. After bringing in my jeep, we did not hear anything from him for 2 to 3 weeks so we called and left a message to find out what was going on with our jeep. We never heard back from him. We waited another week call back left another message still no response so we got in our car and went down to the Jeep dealership. He had us call the body shop to make our own appointment for the warranty work although when we did, the body shop said that was unheard of that, the dealership is the one who calls. They did go ahead and make the appointment for us, however. Picked up our Jeep. It was so dirty And had splatters of. Buffing compound all over the hood and windshield. So much so that we could not tell what the work that they did even looked like. Freddy made statements about the Pain on the hood doesn’t match the fender but give it three days and it will change color and match. He also said that it was dirty because they weren’t allowed to wash it. In the end, he did take it back and have it washed and when he brought our jeep back up, you could see and feel the fine spray of overspray from the primer on our windshield fenders, and the tops of our doors. There were also a couple of white pieces of plastic in the black hood that they repainted specs of white. We showed him and had him feel all of the overspray. He took it back over to the body shop to have it buffed out. When we came back to pick up our Jeep he informed us that it wasn’t overspray, but it was tree ASAP. If your people working there, don’t know the difference between drips of tree sap, and a fine coating of overspray they probably need a little more automotive education and experience. I’ve been a body man for 40 years. This was gray overspray.Freddy then told me that it couldn’t have been overspray, but it was trees that because they covered my entire Jeep in plastic and only took the hood off. So my question would be then how did my jeep get so dirty if it was totally covered and how did the splatter from the buffing compound get all over my windshield? One excuse or lie after another from someone who doesn’t know what he’s doing. Poor experience no customer service orientation. Would never recommend. More
