Gary Charlton

I’m originally from Wall, Texas, outside of San Angelo, where I grew up in a small 2A school playing sports, hunting, and fishing. I started college at Angelo State before transferring to UNT, graduating in 1989. I’ve lived and worked in the DFW Metroplex ever since. My career includes 17 years in banking and lending, followed by owning and operating an independent dealership and service center for 14 years, along with a body shop for 3 years. After COVID, I sold my businesses in 2021 and returned to the automotive lending and leasing industry. I have a 22-year-old daughter who is a senior at UNT and graduating soon. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, weight training early each morning, and spending time in Colorado, which I hope to call home within the next few years while continuing to serve clients remotely.
