UPDATE – March 2026 I purchased a 2018 Ram 3500 from Silver Star Motors in August 2025. The buying experience initially appeared positive, but serious issues began during the drive home to Florida. Shortly after purchase, the truck developed significant steering problems and then experienced a major rear axle-related failure in which wheel hardware sheared while driving. The vehicle required towing and ultimately more than $9,500 in documented repairs within days of purchase. During the process of attempting repairs, additional concerns related to vehicle identification data surfaced that complicated service evaluation at a Ram dealership. After returning home, I contacted the dealership and worked directly with the owner. I provided repair invoices and documentation in good faith, and partial settlement options were discussed. However, after attempting to reach a reasonable resolution, communication stopped despite multiple follow-ups. I intentionally waited several months before posting this review because I hoped the situation could be resolved privately and professionally. I remain willing to resolve this matter directly and fairly and would gladly update this review if the dealership works with me toward a reasonable resolution. More
