Excellent I was looking for a Kia Niro with a sunroof and Gerard Rennie went above and beyond for me to find the car and have it shipped to Smithtown Kia that w I was looking for a Kia Niro with a sunroof and Gerard Rennie went above and beyond for me to find the car and have it shipped to Smithtown Kia that week. However before I had this excellent experience with Smithtown kia I went to generation Kia where the salesman told me there was no Kia niro with clean pass and sunroof, and he proceeded to try to sell me only the cars he had available. Which was only two grey cars, when i first told him my color choices were white or black. Salesman at generation Kia got angry when I tried to walk away without leaving money to be “locked in” to a price and a car i had no intention on buying. I couldn’t be happier I left there and went to smithtown Kia the next day. Totally different experience, nice friendly helpful people all around that truly wanted to help me find the car I was looking for. Day 3 in my Kia niro and I couldn’t be happier! Everyone was great, EXCEPT one. The person my experience started with, Gerard Rennie, was terrible. He didn’t keep me updated and when I reached out for updates via email, it was lik The person my experience started with, Gerard Rennie, was terrible. He didn’t keep me updated and when I reached out for updates via email, it was like I was speaking to someone who was either drunk, or had the intelligence of a 6 year old. He was relatively condescending and kept getting distracted by my appearance. He left out telling me I’d need a large amount of money with me when finalizing. Now, the manager, Charlie, was great, as was Mike Halliday, who kept me updated every step of the way (after taking over from Gerard Rennie), and Gerard Ragan did a great job finishing things up. Id definitely recommend going there, but avoid working with Mr Rennie. More

Gerard Rennie treated us like family at Smithtown Kia When my wife and I first visited Smithtown Kia, we didn't know much about the Kia brand other than the 10yr/100k mile warranty. We test drove several certified used Kias before we decided to buy new, and Gerard was helpful and friendly throughout the journey. I can honestly say that I was very picky and particular, but yet Gerard stuck with us and satisfied every concern my wife and I had. Rosa in finance was also wonderful, and she saved us a lot of money. I'm thrilled with my new car, and highly recommend the friendly staff at Smithtown Kia. More

I'm a big fan of Consumer Reports magazine, and my research into a reliable, safe, nice looking, and affordable sedan led me to Kia. I met Gerard Rennie at Smithtown Kia, where he welcomed me and offered me a cup of coffee before any "car talk" began. He listened carefully to what I was interested in, located a vehicle that fit my needs and off we went on a test drive. At no time did he try to oversell me on something I did not need. I had researched prices, and I truly believe I got a good deal here. Gerard always treated me with dignity and respect, and made what many consider to be an unpleasant experience, into a decent one. Even though there are many tutorials online regarding the operation of the various electronic devices in my car, Gerard offered me an open door invitation to help me with anything I may not fully understand. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a Kia to ask for Gerard Rennie. More
