I wanted to make a comparison but really didn’t think I’d be able to afford a Lexus of similar age in similar condition with comparable mileage and options. I was wrong. I was lucky to encounter Greg Dowdy In the lot and he was extremely helpful with locating the type vehicles that I was looking for and was generous with his time, answering many questions and test driving vehicles with me. Bottom Line: I selected a car that I liked better than the Toyota I’d been considering. I gave the Toyota dealer a chance to beat the price I got from Greg and ultimately purchased a beautiful ES350 Lexus from Wilde. The entire process was as smooth and non stressful as buying a car can be. I got a better price with a better warranty on what I believe is a better car. Working with Greg was a real pleasure and I now see him more as a friend than just someone who sold me a care. I highly recommend Wild Lexus. Best of the many car purchasing processes I’ve had. Not planning to buy, just looking but then we did! On a rainy Saturday, we were out car 'looking' for a hard top convertible. I have been driving a soft top sports car for 16 years. We had looked at th On a rainy Saturday, we were out car 'looking' for a hard top convertible. I have been driving a soft top sports car for 16 years. We had looked at the Mercedes version and wanted to check out other makes. Greg mentioned there was a Mercedes in the front and two Lexus models in the back -- one finishing additional detailing, the other not ready for sale. The Mercedes just didn't make the cut even though the price was good. After test driving the Lexus, the decision was easy. Buying a car is a day long event which is not enjoyable to us even though there were plenty of donuts and drinks and nice staff. We left for lunch while Greg and Frank put the paperwork together. My spouse test drove it and agreed with me on the decision. We left with my "new to me" used car. It is a pleasure to drive and was a good choice. I (we) look forward to driving it for many years! And free car washes on Saturday mornings! More

He took me on test drives. He was never pushy and he got me the best deal he could. We had a small problem at time of pickup but Greg took care of it very professionally. Being new to Florida by three years, we visited Wilde Lexus in Sarasota to start our search for a new car. Fortunately we met Greg Dowdy who, in short order, found us the exact pre-owned car we wanted. We cannot say enough kind words about Greg. He was the consummate professional and a real gentleman. It is because of people like Greg that Lexus is so successful and the reason they will get our future business. I would be remiss not to add that Eric was great at explaining the car's technology, which is frankly awesome. Also, Frank did a great job handling all of the paperwork and answering our questions. So, if you are looking for a new car don't waste your time. Go to Wilde Lexus and ask for Greg, he's the best. More
