Pre-Owned Purchase Issue I recently purchased a pre-owned RX 350 from Wilde Lexus in Sarasota. In general, I do not have an issue with the conduct of the salesman during the I recently purchased a pre-owned RX 350 from Wilde Lexus in Sarasota. In general, I do not have an issue with the conduct of the salesman during the sales process. He was low-key and not high pressure which I appreciated. However, he said he was missing the spare key. He wrote out an "We Owe You" form for this key and said that if he could not find the missing key, the shop could make one. A week goes by and I do not hear from him. I got the impression that if I had not called him, he was not going to call me (he had forgotten about the lost key). So I call him and he says he can't find the key and for me to come down for the service department to cut me a new key. This process took me 2.5 hours. From a process change standpoint, I think Wilde should never hand over a new or pre-owned car to the buyer without both keys in hand. In other words, the spare key should never go on a "We Owe You" form. Don't make the buyer have to come back and spend a lot of time getting the spare key made. Find the spare key or make a new one before the hand-off. More

He provided very helpful information about the cars we looked at. He worked with us on the price and we were very satisfied with the deal set up for our Jaguar trade-in. He was kindly and smart. Our salesman, Greg Dowdy has really been fantastic in both explaining all about the car but also answered all our questions. We've called him twice already and both times he answered the phone and handled our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better salesperson. He really understands the car and is so good explaining all the upgrades some of which we never had before. We've already recommended my cousin to Greg and my cousin bought an RX350 from him. The financial manager, Frank Justin was extremely knowledgeable and personable who knew his job inside and out. He explained the different additional vehicle warranties and what was covered in each. We have never take the extras before, but after Frank explained the benefits, we decided this was a good idea, given all the complexities of all the electronics. He is very genuine. The Delivery Specialist, Daryl Williams, was also very informative and personable. We are pretty novice to some of these upgrades and asked a million questions.all of which he answered patiently. I am sure he hasn't heard the last from us. More
