Would not honor a Hyundai recall i was told they couldn’t find it in there system the recall was The engine management system (ecu) may cause preignition Of the air/fuel mixture in the engine resulting in ex find it in there system the recall was The engine management system (ecu) may cause preignition Of the air/fuel mixture in the engine resulting in excessive cylinder pressure causing damage to the engine. After doing research the recall was expected to begin May 13, 2019 Hyundai number for the recall is 182. had a 2013 Hyundai Veloster that was having issues blowing coil packs and catalytic converters. I went to them knowing the about these issues and told them it was misfiring and the coil pack was bad hoping there diagnosis would tell me something For my car to fall under that recall cause this was the 3rd time replacing coil packs and 2nd time replacing the cat so there had to be something causing these issues every 4 months cough cough the recall on the ecu. After them there’s Diagnosis and being told it was the coil pack and the car had failed once again like I already didn’t know that from my Matco ob2 reader so I was screwed 139$ for them to tell me what I already knew going to them in the first place and for them not to honor a recall. Lastly the service manager Aaron was very rude after telling me the recall isn’t in there system and they won’t be doing nothing for free he needs to work on people skills an be more calm headed. Thanks for wasting my morning Jenkins Hyundai will never buy a Hyundai again. They couldn’t even give me a reason why these problems crept Occurring . Also told them the car was running rich and has black sut by the Exhaust was told that all there Hyundai’s run rich. Just wow what ever you do don’t buy a 2013 Hyundai Veloster. More

WISH WE NEVER MEET HIM...I ASKED FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM HALEY AND SHE GAVE ME COST FROM JENKINS AND AS I STARTED TO CHECK COST ELSEWHERE YOU WHERE $ 500 MORE THAN EVEN KIA AND EVEN OTHER PARTY'S...A GUY LIKE THOMAS GEMKOW IS A PERSON THAT WILL RUIN A LOT OF SALES IF HE OPERATE THE SAME WAY AS HE DID WITH US AND HIS NAME WILL BE PASSED AROUND TO OUR FRIENDS... Thanks to the team for making my car buying experience a pleasure! Haley was kind and helpful, quick to answer my questions and provide more information to help me make the best decision. Nick worked pleasure! Haley was kind and helpful, quick to answer my questions and provide more information to help me make the best decision. Nick worked with me before I arrived and gave me a thorough tour of the vehicle to be sure everything was in order inside and out with the car and the paperwork before I left. Patrick was prepared and efficient, and I appreciated his straightforward approach to payment. Jamie also stopped by to say Hello and make us feel welcome. I did not meet Jeremy in person but know he assisted behind the scenes to make the deal and I appreciate his help. I came to Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala after a frustrating experience at another dealership, and it was a breath of fresh air to be treated with respect and professionalism from beginning to end. Even though I made a smaller purchase on a used car, I believe I was given the same treatment as if I were making a much larger purchase on a brand new vehicle.
