Pros: the used car I bought was priced according to market value (kbb.com), and the dealership charged half in fees what other dealerships in the state charge. The dealership had recently bought the car and posted it, and the salesman Pierce Winthrop acted quickly to get it inspected, cleaned, and turned around for me to buy. I had to rent a car and drive a couple hours to get to the dealership, and Pierce kindly gave me a ride to the rental store and back to return the car. Cons: it appears that the dealership overcharged me for state fees. I thought the fees were too high when we were going through the charges and asked for an explanation, but the finance officer insisted that those were the fees from the state. However later when I looked more closely at the Buyer's Order and compared it to the fees from the DMV on the Deal Summary, the charges on the Deal Summary were a few hundred dollars less. My local DMV also confirmed that the lesser amount on the Deal Summary was correct. I emailed the finance officer about it twice but got no response. More
