🚨 SCAMMERS • CROOKS • LIARS • BAIT & SWITCH DEALERSHIP 🚨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Yes, 5 stars — because this level of deception deserves special recognition) We went to AXIS CHEVROLET in Jersey City, NJ to purchas 🚨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Yes, 5 stars — because this level of deception deserves special recognition) We went to AXIS CHEVROLET in Jersey City, NJ to purchase a specific Mercedes-Benz GLS 450. From day one, this dealership showed exactly how crooked and dishonest they are. Our first visit was with a salesman named Tony, who was polite and professional. We were told no test drive allowed until numbers were agreed on. The vehicle’s windshield sticker showed $38,999, while they listed everywhere and claimed an MSRP of $24,999. After negotiating numbers, we asked for OTD. After piling on junk fees and add-ons we never asked for, they came back with an (OTD) out-the-door price around $36,000+. We clearly stated we wanted $28,200 OTD and would finance through them. GM Harun/Arun refused to move below $28,971.68, so we walked. Tony followed up the next day. We stayed firm. A week later (02/07/2026), we contacted Tony again and agreed to meet in the middle at $28,500, come in, test drive, and close the deal. Tony told us he informed GM Harun/Arun and that they were expecting us as he is out on delivery of vehicle. That’s when the circus started. We walked in, were handed off to another salesman (Larry), and immediately told the price was now $30,500 / $30,971, followed by the classic line: “You should’ve taken it last time.” When we mentioned Tony, this salesman looked us in the face and lied, saying Tony was FIRED. We had spoken to Tony 30 minutes earlier. As we got up to leave, GM Harun/Arun came out, stopped us, and admitted Tony was NOT fired and was simply out on a delivery. So yes — their own staff will lie and defame coworkers without hesitation. Harun/Arun then agreed to $28,500, told us to test drive the car, and said if we like it, we’d do paperwork and be done. During the test drive, the salesman again claimed Tony was fired and manager lied— another blatant lie. After the test drive, they: • Took all our personal and financial information • Filled credit details • Shook our hands • Said “Congratulations” Minutes later, surprise surprise. Arun/Harun walks out of his office shaking his hands and head and says: “I just spoke to the owner, and he put money into the car. He won’t sell below $31,500.” So let’s be clear: • Numbers were agreed • Deal was “approved” • Personal info was collected • Hands were shaken • THEN the price magically went up $3,000 This is classic bait-and-switch, unprofessional, and borderline fraudulent behavior. A GM (If he is legit one) who “doesn’t check with the owner” before approving deals? Please. This wasn’t confusion — it was intentional manipulation. ⚠️ WARNING TO EVERYONE ⚠️ This dealership will: • Waste your time • Lie to your face • Change numbers at the last second • Collect your personal information under false pretenses I strongly recommend NEVER doing business with AXIS CHEVROLET, JERSEY CITY. If you value your time, your credit, and your sanity — stay far away. You’ve been warned. More

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. PERIOD. I went to Axis with my own car and $7,000 down. They sold my trade-in before the sale was even finalized, without my consent. Then they tr PERIOD. I went to Axis with my own car and $7,000 down. They sold my trade-in before the sale was even finalized, without my consent. Then they tried to force me into accepting a defective car that clearly had major issues. When I said no, they got hostile, pushing me nonstop to call the bank and say I was "satisfied" so they could get their money. They held me at the dealership, refusing to let me leave until I agreed to the deal. I had to call the POLICE just to get out of there. I have the official incident report to prove it. And it didn't end there -- they tried to intimidate me by sending letters from their attorney, telling me to come pick up the same defective car they knew wasn't in working condition, saying it "had nothing wrong with it." I told them clearly: I want my trade-in back and I want my $7,000 back. I got NEITHER. They kept my money. They kept my car. They gave me NOTHING. The owner (Jimmy) is manipulative and dangerous to do business with. This is not a dealership -- it's a scam house. I don't know how they're still open. Also, watch the prices on their website -- they'll list one price online and then jack it up by $2,000-$5,000 when you get there. And if they give you more for your trade-in than what you owe, they just sneak it into the final car price. It's all a trap to make you think you're getting a deal -- when really, they're bleeding you dry. Do NOT go to Axis unless you're ready to be robbed and lied to. This place is built on lies and intimidation. Stay far away. More

They will charge you extra for policies you don't want or need. If you request to cancel those policies, you will get the run around and they will delay any chance to refund you. I am likely going to have to need. If you request to cancel those policies, you will get the run around and they will delay any chance to refund you. I am likely going to have to sue them in small claims to get my refund. Definitely don't buy vehicle if it's for company use. They screwed up my registration and title for the company as well. Terrible Service. There's more, but it's too long of a story. More

This place is horrible they have 287 cars listed on Carfax undervalue and then when you try to buy the car they tell you that 0 sorry that's not the price and the price is going to be 10% higher than w Carfax undervalue and then when you try to buy the car they tell you that 0 sorry that's not the price and the price is going to be 10% higher than what it was listed. That's not all when they see how interested you are they continue to raise the price. Started out at 39,000 and ended up at 48,000 and then I decided enough is enough. These are not honorable people. They are strictly scammers. I worked with Larry Brooks and they will never get my business. More
