University Mitsubishi’s practice of low balling the advertised price and then adding on extras was not appreciated. Buyers should assume a significant amount in extra charges above the advertised price, not including tax and registration. As with many dealerships there was some haggling before arriving at a price that was acceptable to both parties. During the drive home some lights were illuminated on the dash indicating issues with stability control and crash avoidance systems. The vehicle was taken to a local CDJR dealer to check out the lights at which time an issue with two tires and electrical communications issues were found. After communications back and forth describing the issues and resolutions University Mitsubishi offered to reimburse for said repairs. As a result the rating and this description were updated. Their willingness to make things right is why the recommendation has been adjusted from a 1 star avoid rating to 4 star recommended. More
