Hi, my name is Hector Ybanes! I was born and raised in San Jose, California in 1981 and joined the automotive industry in 2004 after completing college. Today, I'm proud to be part of the team at Volkswagen of Fairfield. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. The ID.Buzz stands out as my favorite vehicle because of its spaciousness and comfort for family travel. When I'm not at work, I love outdoor activities like camping, hiking, picnics, fishing, going to the beach, and all types of sports. I love cars and I love helping people, so working here allows me to truly enjoy what I do.

I received a recall notice and a $50 gift card for a 2019 Atlas. I’ve never owned a 2019 Atlas or any other VW. I called the dealer to find out how they got my name, thinking someone stole my identity. I spo Atlas. I’ve never owned a 2019 Atlas or any other VW. I called the dealer to find out how they got my name, thinking someone stole my identity. I spoke to three different employees - one each in sales, service, and finance, as well as someone in the corporate office. No one could tell me anything, other than it could be a marketing scam. I then emailed the GM, Ivan Figueroa, since he was never available to take my call, but received no response. Where is the customer service? And why isn’t anyone being honest about the mailings? Why hasn’t the GM answered my emails? More
