I'm 21 years old and I was raised in Zimmerman, Minnesota. Growing up, I played football and basketball throughout high school, and basketball is still a big part of my life—I make time to play every week. Outside of sports, I enjoy fishing and spending time with friends and family. My faith is the foundation of who I am. I'm a Christian, and I believe I would be nothing without God. My relationship with Him guides how I live, how I treat others, and how I approach both life and work each day. I enjoy connecting with people and helping them find the right vehicle to fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget. 3 Week Post-Sale Review: Tom Kadlec Chevrolet provided the best experience of the four MN dealerships I visited during my search for a reasonably priced, well maintained, used 2023-2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD the best experience of the four MN dealerships I visited during my search for a reasonably priced, well maintained, used 2023-2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD ORP with multi-terrain monitor system. Hunter Dipprey was the most prepared of the sales specialists I met, and his love of cars translated very well into: • clear & fast communication, being able to answer specific questions, • demonstrate all vehicle functions, • helping with visual inspection of the frame condition, • taking time to address features, issues, pros/cons, and concerns. This included using appropriate sales nudges but without excessive sales pressure. How I found TKC: After months of comparing among different SUVs and visiting different dealerships, I decided the 5th gen 4Runner was the best fit. After viewing some certified pre-owned Toyotas trucks with excessive frame rust, I stopped relying on certification claims and expanded my search to all MN dealerships with the vehicle I wanted. I’m happy to have found TKC and Hunter. They had the right combo of vehicle, price, and sales team. Sale and Follow Up: The sales process and vehicle delivery were easy to complete, Parker Elmquist did a good job with the forms, questions, and discussion of care/warranty options, delivery was included in the price, delivery drivers were nice, and the vehicle arrived safely. • Hunter followed up about my experience within the first two weeks. • Pulse surprise: One surprise I didn’t like was the added $400.00 “pulse” module to the factory tailgate lights of used cars. Hunter said they could remove it, but as the wiring was already cut once to install the module, I decided to leave it as-is to avoid any later electrical issues. Beyond extended warranties, buyers are offered an electronic anti-corrosion device that I had never heard of, but from reading about such devices, I don’t believe they work on cars/trucks. • Nice surprises included the vehicle’s better condition and ride quality than some of the other 4runners I tried that week, and how well the multi-terrain camera systems work. The previous owner also added items like door accent lights that my child enjoys. • At 3 weeks post-purchase, the vehicle is running very well, my local mechanic verified everything Hunter said about the frame condition, and even with its older tires (Dunlop A/Ts), it rides well on-highway, and off-road. I planned on replacing the tires, so their pre-sale condition was sufficient. I was surprised to end up buying a Toyota from a Chevrolet dealer, but they did a great job by offering a quality vehicle, Hunter learned the vehicle specs and functions before I arrived for the test drive, their assessment of the frame condition matched my mechanic’s opinion, and I’m quite happy with the outcomes. Comparing the buying experience of large to small dealerships, I now prefer the experience at the smaller TKC. To Hunter, Parker, Cody, and TKC, offering a quality vehicle and taking time to explain, view, and demonstrate it were top benefits, so I hope you continue doing that for all customers. For anyone else looking to buy from Hunter and Tom Kadlec Chevrolet, I recommend them and would return. It was also interesting to see the new Chevys which I would otherwise not have seen up close.
