From the day we bought my $75k EV, it has been a nightmare! I will skip to the latest. In doing my taxes, I have found out the dealership never filed the Point of Sale document required by the IRS for my $7500 rebate! It is almost April, I've been fighting with them & trying to resolve this since February. I was told by their finance manager, Rory, this was my issue and there was no paperwork for them to file & that I would need to handle this. Funny because other dealerships have done it correctly and knew exactly what I was talking about when I called and asked! I would not touch this dealership again. They have not been honest or helpful in any way. And the showroom/ building looks like it is from the '70's...very old and outdated. I should have followed my instincts and left when we pulled up and I thought yuck! After 30 years of Acura, I now have problems! Love, love, love the car, but I won't keep it long. I have a feeling this fight is not over, esp since I'm still waiting on corporate to get back to me. Per the IRS, if the dealership is not registered in the portal when the car is sold, it does not qualify for any rebate... let's hope that's flexible or we really have a bigger problem!
