I recently stopped into Bentley Palm Beach because I had been contemplating buying a Bentley Continental GTC for quite sometime. As I was walking through the Showroom there were several client advisors (or sales associates) who never even looked up. However, I knew when I saw Ishmail approaching me that he was the right man to talk to. He immediately greeted me with a presence that stands out - dressed impeccably and introducing himself with a warm welcoming smile and affirming handshake. I immediately felt comfortable, confident and assured that my interactions with Ishmail would be genuine. After explaining to Ishmail which model car I was looking for, he wasted no time showing me the cars in inventory and in no time at all, he was highlighting the features and a test drive of each. Ishmail, in my opinion, went above and beyond, allowing me to spend all the time I wanted to think through my choices. I appreciated the opportunity to spend extra time with the car I had selected. As someone who has formally assessed and evaluated levels of emotional intelligence of senior officers of Fortune 500 companies, I know when someone has high emotional intelligence, just within the first few minutes of meeting them. Ishmail has a very high level of emotional intelligence. He is highly self-aware, exuding self-confidence and in the manner and style in which he carries himself while communicating. He is exceptional in his interpersonal style of engaging and communicating, especially listening attentively and responding by addressing my specific questions and concerns. Ishmail is probably the most adept at quickly building genuine relationships that are based upon trust, respect and credibility. He is an authentic human being who makes an immediate connection. So much so that you feel you have a friend on your side, but also on a professional level. What’s better than that, especially when you are looking to purchase a car from someone? The proof was afterwards, a week later, when Ishmail called me to see how things were going. He, again, extended himself, going above and beyond, to research and provide me with valuable information that I needed. I now have a friend in Ishmail and will, most certainly, be in touch with him with all of my Bentley needs in the future, from any potential questions or service requests, to buying a new car.
