We’re sorry for the misunderstanding and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. After diagnosing the seat, our service team determined that the button itself is functioning and has power. Unfortunately, the issue is with the seatback motor, which is integrated into the seat frame. Because the motor is not available as a separate repair, the recommended repair requires replacement of the affected seat frame assembly, which is why the cost is considerably more than replacing a switch or button. We completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially when the issue initially appears to be something as simple as a button. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the diagnosis and are happy to discuss the repair options with you further.
