After spending several hours brousing other dealers for a new car for my wife, we visited Cable Dahmer Chevrolet in Kansas City, Mo. It turned out to be the best decision I made that day. When I explained that I was looking for a new vehicle for my wife, Jeff turned his attention to her and asked questions as to the type of vehicle and features she desired in a new vehicle. Jeff was never pushy nor high-pressure oriented as I found other sales persons to be at deealerships we had visited earlier that day. Jeff made a list of my wife's "wish list" in a vehicle and showed us a small group of vehicles that best matched what she was looking for in a vehicle. Jeff then allowed us to drive the vehicles and asked us to "take our time" and make sure we found what we were looking for. After my wife chose a vehicle (Chevrolet Traverse LT) was very close to what she was looking for, Jeff then showed her the features of the vehicle and answered all her questions. Once my wife and I agreed that the vehicle was what she was looking for, I then asked Jeff for the best deal on that vehicle (we were buying outright with no trade in vehicle). Jeff asked us some questions about ourselves to ensure that he would help us take advantage of any additional discounts or incentives. Jeff then showed us the best deal he could make us and I was very happy to see the deal to be the best among all dealerships we had visited thus far. My wife and I decided to purchase the vehicle. We then met Brian Crowley, the General Sales Manager; and Larry Van Zandt, Finance Manager. Both Brian and Larry were friendly, helpful, and eager to please. Brian pledged to do anything he could do to help us in our experience before and after the sale. Larry took us through several options on our financing plans and we chose the plan that was best for us and saved us the most in finance charges and payment plans. Jeff offered to have the vehicle detailed, cleaned, gassed up and ready to go within an hour. My wife and I went to a late lunch and sure enough, upon our return, the vehicle was ready. I've purchased many vehicles over the years from several dealers in several states, and I have to see that this experience with Jeff and the team at Cable-Dahmer was far and away the best overall experience. The atmosphere was friendly, helpful, and clean (even though the dealership was in obvious remodel, the sales floor and finance areas were clean and inviting). But it was the people that made a lasting impression on my wife and me - I have already shared my wonderful experience with many of my friends and associates and I have recommended to all that they visit Cable-Dahmer and ask for Jeff when they're ready to buy a new or used vehicle. My feeling is that the staff at Cable-Dahmer genuinely care about the customer and will support the customer before, during, and after the sale. As a footnote, there were some accessories for the vehicle that Jeff was unable to provide us on our day of purchase (Saturday) due to some construction issues in the stockroom / parts area. Jeff promised to send us those accessories as soon as possible, but he did even better - he personally delivered the parts to my wife at our home early the next week. Also, during the finance discussion, Larry made us aware of additional savings and special services that we were eligible for due to our credit rating. He explained the benefits and allowed us to make the decisions. In short, Jeff and Larry went beyond my expectations in ensuring a great experience for me and my wife. I am now a "raving fan" of Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet. I plan on visiting there first for any future vehicle need and will continue to highly recommend Jeff and the team to my friends and contacts. Last weekend I was on a mission to get a new car. I had a few things I was looking for specifically. 1. Warranty coverage 2. Lower my monthly car payment 3. Front wheel drive and 4. I had in my mind it was going to be horrible, but I needed to do it so I just had to get out there and look. I was certainly not going back to the last place I purchased my Trailblazer from so the first place I went to was Cable Dahmer Chevrolet. When I got there I was walking the lot and was quickly met by Jeff Davis. I was not quite sure what I wanted, but after working with Jeff and test driving several different models I made the decision to buy an HHR. And I love it! Jeff was very patient, friendly, respectful, and tentative to what I wanted. He explained all of my “many” questions about warranty and service. Then it came time to meet with the finance guy… I felt like I wanted to be sick to my stomach…that’s were I felt I got “screwed” on my last purchase (not at Cable Dahmer). But then I met Larry Van Zandt… OMG, I couldn’t have been more wrong and quite honestly…I don’t admit that much (ask my husband)! With the factory rebates and my trade in it allowed more than enough room (financially) to get an extended warranty and still accomplish all of my other goals. Lower payment etc… Overall, my experience was a 6 on a rating from 1-5. I accomplished all I set out to do and I learned from this experience too. I’m happy that I left with a good feeling and as a better educated consumer. I will never buy a new car with out going to see Jeff and Larry first! More

I am totally satisfied with my purchase of a new Silverado pickup truck from Cable-Dahmer of Kansas City. Jeff has always been honest with me and suggested what he thought would work better me. To make a long story short, I ended up leaving later that day with my 2011 Silverado. Jeff found me a great vehicle and a great price within the paramters of my request. Jeff also gave me a small tour of the Dealership and introduced me to the Service manager. I went to this dealership not knowing i was going to come home with a car that same day. After i test drove the car i knew thats the car i wanted. Before dealing with Cable Dahmer and Jeff Davis all of my experiences had been anything but enjoyable. The games of back and forth to "MY MANAGER", etc.-we all know what they are. So when my husband and I needed a new car in January I very reluctantly drug my feet and finally said okay. I had heard good things about Cable Dahmer, their customer service, etc and truthfully they are the closest dealership to our home. From the minute we arrived and said "Just looking" until we drove the car off of the lot we were treated with the utmost respect. No high pressure, no games. We bought a brand new Malibu and have been very pleased with our choice. Being a loyal Chevrolet customer this is just one in the long list of Chevrolets we have purchased in the last 30+ years. Jeff has been extremely good with follow-up, and taking care of some matters that were probably a little above the norm. No I still don't want to walk barefoot through hot coals, or swim in Lake Michigan in January. But when the time comes to buy a car Cable Dahmer and Jeff Davis will get my business. I have told others about our experience and will recommend this dealership and salesperson when the time comes. More

He went well out of his way to meet my needs and I'm a pretty tough customer -but in a good way. I'm very very happy with this truck. I bought a 2010 Camaro last year from this same dealership and I like to tell them, everytime I walk into their dealership, it's like a party. From managers, to salesmen, to receptionist, to service area help...everyone is so cheerful, fun, and very helpful. I will continue to recommend them to friends and family. Kudos!! More

It was so easy to work with Jeff, he listened to what I needed and how much I wanted to spend as I am on a fixed income. He got the car cleaned up and to me very quickly and I just love my Malibu. My good friend Ralph liked it so much he bought an identical one from Jeff a week or so later. The service department is always fast and friendly when I come in, even without an appointment and Jeff always checks on me when I am in for service and on the phone.
