I was able to communicate with Jeff Staton via email effectively and timely. He made sure to keep me informed and made this car buying process painless. We set a date and time for us to come up and test drive. We both loved the vehicle and agreed to the purchase. When finance came in, he was professional, to the point and did not try to sell me any further warranties, which was a nice change from local dealers. Filthy and dishonest We drove 2 hours one way to look at a Ford Transit. We had called in advance to ask a couple questions about the vehicle. At no time was a huge dent t We drove 2 hours one way to look at a Ford Transit. We had called in advance to ask a couple questions about the vehicle. At no time was a huge dent twice the size of my fist mentioned. The guy, I believe his name was Jeff, "didn't notice it" until he pulled it around for us. How does a car salesman not notice something like that?? We would not have driven 2 hours for a banged up vehicle, at least not without some sort of promise to fix it like new. He never once left the comfort of the air conditioned building, just handed us keys and said 'so you want to test drive it?"with the apathy of a teenage fast food clerk. Another guy, in his pajamas/sweats, ran out as we were pulling out of the lot to fix the dangling license plate that apparently again "no one noticed". He was at least personable and engaging. I could not make this stuff up if I tried. On top of that, the place was absolutely filthy. The floors were literally the filthiest I have ever seen. My daughter is newly walking so she falls often and isn't much for being held. In the few minutes we were inside, her knees and palms were black. The floors hadn't been mopped in quite some time, if ever. There were cobwebs in the corners and dead bugs in the window sills. Upon returning from our test drive, nothing was ever offered for the dent. We asked about trade in value and the sales guy responded with "well I need to have you fill out this paperwork so I know you're serious" Uh, what? We drove 2 hours to get here with 5 kids. He couldn't have sold water in the desert. Needless to say we walked out. A week later we bought the same exact model of van and similar miles a week later - and no dent in the side! So yes, we were VERY serious in purchasing a vehicle ;) More
