Changed my fuel filter and noticed brass in my fuel filter my mechanic (GM tech for gmc) said the fuel pumps come apart called Lynn Layton and they said yes bring it in asked if I should drive a lil wh filter my mechanic (GM tech for gmc) said the fuel pumps come apart called Lynn Layton and they said yes bring it in asked if I should drive a lil while so more brass would build up said no. I took it up there almost 3 week later after multiple attempts of calling finally got a call that said it’s fine charged 112$ and then every light on my dash was on. After over a hour of fighting got a refund and the lights on my dash fixed. I had ordered a pump through gmc where my mechanic works and changed it the day I picked up from Lynn Layton I have pictures of brass in the fuel filter housing and in the fuel pump More

This was my third trip to Lynn Layton’s service department, with my 2023 Colorado. I realize that the problems are a manufacturer issue and that the service department is doing the best they can t department, with my 2023 Colorado. I realize that the problems are a manufacturer issue and that the service department is doing the best they can to help. It’s a shame to have a new vehicle and be afraid to get on the road with it. I’m praying that the third time was the charm. Time will tell. More
