Johnny & Raphael were our sales team and the transaction went fine-typical. The real problems with this place started shortly after when we called the dealership’s office that handles DMV issues with an inquiry regarding our title. After several messages (they never answered their phone) and months later, we were yet to receive a call back. We then reached out to our trusted sales guy, Raphael, who emphatically promised us over and over again at the closing of our vehicle purchase that he would look out for any of our needs should a problem arise. Helping with service appointments, securing a loaner, anything at all- “Just text me and I’ll take care of you!”. We reached out to him and after weeks of reminders, he finally got back to us with an answer. Not a good start. More recently we have had a few issues with the vehicle that need repairing (electrical and rattling issues). Again, we reached out to Raphael and after numerous attempts over a couple of weeks via text he finally responded that he’s on it and he’ll keep us posted. Never heard anything. We reached out again-nothing. My husband tried again the following week and Raphael texted that he spoke with - in the service department and they would reach out to us. Didn’t happen. My husband decided to just call service himself, since Raphael clearly had zero interest in providing any meaningful service for his clients. I must add to this that Raphael had no problem reaching out to ASK for a favor for himself a couple of months after our purchase. He was very capable of texting to request something from my husband (gaming industry) , so he clearly knows how to communicate when it serves him, just not his clients. Now to the horror show of a service department. We made an appointment for early February, several weeks prior with a clear understanding that a loaner car was necessary. The service guy who scheduled the appointment couldn’t guarantee a loaner at that exact moment, but assured my husband that as the appointment got closer, he’d let my husband know what the availability was. Shocker-never heard from him. Last week, 5 days before our scheduled appointment my husband calls and asks for the service manager. He leaves several messages over the next couple of days for Henry (service manager) explaining the situation in regard to needing a loaner car. Guess what happened- never heard from him. The pattern of ghosting is not isolated with the DMV department, or the sales team or just the service department. It’s the entire dealership! Needless to say, we did not entrust them with servicing our vehicle. For context, we’ve been buying & leasing vehicles for over 30 years, so we’re fairly seasoned with dealerships and not much surprises us at this point with really anything. But this has been the most appalling display of disregard and disrespect we’ve ever encountered. I’d equate it to a spit in the face quite frankly. How in the world these people have jobs is beyond me. The level of atrocious customer service at this dealership is staggering and as anyone with a brain knows, it starts at the head and trickles down. The GM, Jeremy Guller obviously endorses this lack of respect for their clients or it would clearly be an isolated incident. This is systemic! They all stink! If you’re a masochist who enjoys spending $80k+ and being treated like a used piece of chewing gum on the bottom of this dealer’s shoe, this is the place for you. If like us, you want to be treated as a valued client with a modicum of respect, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! There are many other Land Rover dealers in Los Angeles to give your hard earned money to. Ones that actually have some decency and integrity. Go to them. You deserve better than this clown show of a business. We’re currently shopping for an additional Land Rover and we now know who NOT to buy from! More
