Purchased a new vehicle from this dealer on the 13th of October 2022. Was it explained it would take some time to receive the title paperwork in order to register the vehicle. Three weeks had gone by with October 2022. Was it explained it would take some time to receive the title paperwork in order to register the vehicle. Three weeks had gone by with no title paperwork. I contacted the dealer inquiring about the paperwork and they began checking and explained it was being help up at the bank. Max motors staff explained they would reach out to the bank and call me back with information. A couple of hours go by and haven’t received a call so I call Max Motors, they explain they were unable to reach them and left a message. Max motors explained they would reach out again and call back. I never received a call and wait until noon the following day after not hearing anything. I explained my situation to the individual on the phone at max motors and they put me on a hold while they went to talk to someone regarding my problem. A new person answers the phone and no information was passed along to this person. I explain my situation again and they tell me they’ll look into it and call me when they get information. I waited 30 mins and decided to call the bank myself to figure out what the issue was. I spoke with a loan officer and the bank and explained my problem. She immediately knew who I was and explained she had just gotten off the phone with Max Motors. She explained Max Motors did not send the paperwork over until the OCT 26 2022, it is currently NOV 3 and she explained she was processing the loan immediately. I was provided a 30 day temp tag with my purchase and currently have 8 days remaining until it is expired, with the last day falling on Veterans Day and going into the weekend. Unsure if I will receive my paperwork in time to register my vehicle before it expires and not be able to drive the vehicle I purchased due to their hesitation on sending over paperwork. Additionally, I had to contact the bank to find this information out and the dealership has failed to call me back and fill me in on this information. The salesman I worked with was great, but the customer service after purchasing and trying to work through this issue was not, lack of communication and someone, unsure if it was finance or what, dropped the ball in not sending my paperwork in a timely manner to avoid this issue.
