Pleasant and straight forward. The overall experience was pleasant and was straight forward. The atmosphere was inviting, clean, and all of the people were personable and helpful. Jim was extremely helpful, always had a smile, and provided us with options. Overall, we have made two purchases from Stuckey's in the last 3 years and will go back when we want to make another vehicle change. I wouldn’t have any reservations about referring friends and family to the dealership. More details: We spent about 5 hours at the dealership with a 5 and 9-year-old. Everyone was very nice and helped try to make their stay enjoyable. The total length of time we spent wasn't all the dealerships fault, we had some questions about a mechanical issue that Stuckey Service took care of immediately. Before we made our purchase, we were given an opportunity for another test drive to see if the issue was resolved. Big kudos for being upfront and honest with their customers. Some Suggestions: A suggestion for continual service improvement would be to begin streamlining the car buying experience/process. I understand that you are working with state and federal agencies to make more of the paperwork digital which will help. Another suggestion is the sticker shock/pain point with the "additional options" examples, warranty, paint protect, etc. I feel that it would have been better to know what those costs are before reaching the financing step in the process. We began the purchasing process knowing that we wanted to purchase an extended warranty. It very well could have been that we didn't communicate that at the beginning. One issue that I noticed were some of the side conversations that the employees were having. Although the atmosphere was welcoming and nice, I could certainly see some of the conversations, and that language used, could offend some customers. I was speaking with an older couple that also noticed. It may just be a generational thing but your staff may want to be more mindful of were customers are and topics of conversation within the show room floor. More

Subaru #4 Driving home in my Subaru Outback Impreza Sport 08’ from Parkersburg WV in the rain my transmission went out on RT99 near Altoona PA. I knew enough about cars to know that when the tachometer pegs itself at 70mph that’s not a good thing. I slowed to 50mph and limped to the next exit and safety made it to a shopping plaza. There I found a firestone garage but they do not work on transmissions and could not help me but they did tell me that the Subaru garage was only a few miles away. A quick search on my phone and I found Stuckey Subaru. A nice lady answered the phone and I explained to her what had happened, she gave me the phone number of the towing service they use and said I was only 3 miles away from the dealership. As I was waiting in my car in the pouring down rain I began to prepare myself for the reality that I would be buying a new car that day. I called the bank and chatted with family and friends to help pass the time as I waited for the tow truck. Once my car and I arrived at the dealer I was introduced to Dave in the service dept. I told him my story and even though I knew my fate I needed confirmation that the transmission was gone. Dave then asked if I wanted to talk to a salesperson while I waited for my car to be evaluated. Dave then introduced me to Jim. Jim showed me a few cars that were in my price range and I even took one for a test drive. This also helped to pass the time. It wasn’t long until Dave gave me the details of how bad my car really was, he gave it to me strait and also pointed out other thing that would need to be addressed along with the blown transmission. I really appreciated his honesty. Having the facts on my ailing car Jim and I started the process of what seems like endless paperwork. Jim then introduced me to Sushant from finance, and you guessed it more paper work. I had to laugh because I realized I was in Hollidaysburg and I thought today is Holly’s Day to buy a car, and with that I began to breathe easier. Sush was very helpful and worked the numbers so I felt comfortable with my new car payment. I’m not sure who said it but someone said “your taking this pretty well, I’m not sure I could have handled this as well as you are”. Being a Christian doesn’t prevent you for having bad days but it does help you get through those bad days. I put my trust in the Lord to get me home that day and for that I was thankful. I now own a Crosstrek 2015, which makes that my 4th Subaru. I never thought that I would be buying one, it wasn’t on my, to do list for that day. I only wish I lived closer so Stuckey Subaru could be my go to dealer. Thank you all at Stuckey Subaru, from the receptionist who answered the phone to the Service Dept, Sales team, Finance, and even the parts dept as I returned the following Saturday to drop of the title to the old car, I purchased a Tonneau cover for the trunk of the new car. First vehicle purchase for myself! I was nervous, I knew, I want a suv,and awd. But, my family was Chevrolet owners. I didn't like what they had to offer.
