Hi this is Robert T Pence. I need the evidence you gave to Hyundai corporation regarding the denial of my extended warranty on the engine failure of my 2012 Hyundai sonata. I need the evidence you gave to Hyundai corporation regarding the denial of my extended warranty on the engine failure of my 2012 Hyundai sonata. I was initially on phone call was informed it looked as would be covered under the engine failure settlement claim. However, got denied because of excessive service neglect. Told could not do bearing clearance check because engine seized. Also the VIN when checked on Hyundai website shows it belongs to a Santa Fe, and wondering if this is how the service on vehicle was obtained. I need photos and technician documentation that shows the service neglect. I had purchased vehicle one month prior used and the Carfax report did show the service and condition of vehicle was obtained. I'm upset because was told by Preston Hyundai that Hyundai Corp made decision. My case manager on claim says it was Preston Hyundai that made determination. I have escalated the case and want the records showing how you determined the car seized due to neglect! 1st dealership (ken ganley) that couldn't even turn crankshaft by hand determined and towed it to you because they said it was a rod bearing failure and under warranty . I bought my 2022 Elantra in April. The check engine light has been on since may so 5 months now. I’ve had it in there twice and they haven’t fixed it yet. Now it’s the middle of September and my heat doesn’t work and they just canceled my appointment and I have to wait another week and who knows if they will even fix these issues when I do get in. I’m paying a lot of money for a car that’s had issues since right after I bought it and now I have no heat and it’s been two weeks. They don’t answer the phone or call me back when they say they’re going to talk to the manager and call me back. This is a joke. Should’ve never bought a car from them. Second time engine light came on, first time to this dealership where we bought our Santa Cruz. Kept our vehicle for a week but did give us a car to use. Fuel injector on #1 cylinder bad, 2nd time. Supp dealership where we bought our Santa Cruz. Kept our vehicle for a week but did give us a car to use. Fuel injector on #1 cylinder bad, 2nd time. Supposed to have been replaced. This problem has been going on for 2.5 motors causing many owners to repeatedly go back to dealers to get fixed one injector at a time. When we picked our vehicle up I specifically asked if all the injectors were replaced ( 3 times ) and was told that they were. The next day the engine light came on again. Checked the paperwork from the mechanic and he basically rebuild one injector. The service representative either is not qualified to do her job and has no mechanical knowledge or she lied to me 3 times More
