Coastal advertise no surprise pricing, transparent up-front pricing and it’s been nothing like this. First, they no longer wanted to fix the paint job that they told me would be done before I test dr up-front pricing and it’s been nothing like this. First, they no longer wanted to fix the paint job that they told me would be done before I test drove it so the price needed to be increased by $850 which I didn't agree with. Once we got back to their asking price, they wanted an additional $1000 if I didn’t finance it with them. Surprise! Also, their credit department shopped the loan resulting in 4 credit checks for a 10K loan. This is after I requested that they only do it once. Surprise! They then asked that I don’t pay off the loan until 3-4 payments, so they don’t get charged back from the bank. The biggest surprise was the sales manager and credit manager willingness to capitalize on the short-term market situation at the expense of a long term relationship. More
