I refer to myself as Big John. I went to Cal State Fullerton and started in the automotive industry in 1987. I began working at Jim Curley GMC IN 2022. I truly love the car business and consider my co-workers my friends. They are the heart of the dealership. I am originally from Linden, N.J. and have lived in Toms Rivers since 1997 .I lived in California for 6 1/2 years, and my first real job was at Disneyland. That is where I learned that customers always come first. I've been married to my wife Barbara since 1992 and have twins Nick and Kaitlyn. Both college grads and both graduated got their masters in education and business analytics. . I'm proud to say that my wife and my kids are everything to me . My success is their success . My husband and I called ahead to Jim Curley in Lakewood,NJ the day before Christmas Eve looking to upgrade our SUV to the Yukon XL. From the first phone call Cynthia was friendly, helpful, and hon Lakewood,NJ the day before Christmas Eve looking to upgrade our SUV to the Yukon XL. From the first phone call Cynthia was friendly, helpful, and honest. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment we were greeted by the 4 employees working that night. My husband and I realized that the Yukon XL we wanted was at the Keyport location. Once Cynthia, John, Andrew, and Carlos realized the one we were interested in was in Keyport they arranged to have it transported to the Lakewood location within an hour and a half. All four employees of Jim Curley of Lakewood made the deal of purchasing our new SUV a smooth and easy process. Cynthia aided us in adding our new Yukon XL to our car insurance policy and taught us everything we needed to know to safely operate it. We would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone looking to buy a car! We can’t thank them enough and look forward to doing business with them in the future! More
