If I could give Gates Services Center zero stars I would. My entire experience with the service center was horrible. My so-called advisor JB was awful. He mumbled the entire conversation. He acted as if he hated his job and the customers. When I picked my car up it was dirty and had oil stains on my steering wheel cover, and my sun visors. Mud was all over my mats from the tech’s shoes. I would recommend that they offer JB some more training on how to be professional, speak clearly when speaking with customers. I would also recommend that these so-called advisors look into the vehicle before they call customers and have them pick them up and make sure how the vehicle was given to them. The vehicle was returned. I am still not sure why they needed to go into my armrest, but everything that was in my armrest was left on my passenger seat. More

I purchased my first brand new car from Gates Chevy World. Within the initial 30 days of ownership, I noticed two paint defects on the interior of the hatchback. Furthermore, my air conditioner stopped World. Within the initial 30 days of ownership, I noticed two paint defects on the interior of the hatchback. Furthermore, my air conditioner stopped functioning twice during a trip and blew ice chips at me when it unfroze. I brought these issues to the attention of my salesman, Bill. He escorted me to the body shop to speak with Bruce regarding the paint defects. Bruce assured me that they would rectify the issue and be in contact with me. Notably, these paint defects are relatively minor, and my primary concern is their potential long-term impact on the vehicle's rust protection. However, due to unforeseen medical issues, including a back injury, I became preoccupied and did not hear back from Bruce. Fast-forwarding to approximately a year after purchasing the car, I was preparing for a trip with my daughter and decided to have a hitch installed. As a busy single mother, I took this opportunity to follow up on the paint issue. Although the air conditioner issue had not recurred, I mentioned it to the service department, and they informed me that there was little they could do unless the problem persisted. Bill referred me back to the body shop, where I discovered that Bruce was no longer employed there or was on medical leave. I was not unsympathetic to his situation, but I expected that his replacement would have followed up on his outstanding tasks. The new representative generated an estimate for the vehicle and scheduled a time for me to return and have the panel repaired after my vacation. However, he subsequently contacted me while I was on vacation, stating that he had consulted with my car salesman and was under the impression that Bill would be covering the cost of the paint repairs. I clarified that I had never indicated that Bill would be responsible for these expenses. The representative then informed me that I would be liable for the cost of the panel repair. I found this to be unacceptable and have decided to sever ties with this business. It has become apparent that Gates Chevy World and many of its employees prioritize their own interests over those of their customers. In retrospect, I should have been more cautious in my decision to return to this dealership after my previous experience. More

JJ is the only rep that seems to be considerate and stays in contact with customers. This recent issue/visit was with JB. He, nor any other reps, have not returned calls or texts since I picked up my vehicle in contact with customers. This recent issue/visit was with JB. This experience has been dissatisfying unlike the last visit and unfortunately, we have decided to not return to this location in the future, unless for a product that is still under warranty, and have sought out another professional to assist us.
