My husband and I had our 2017 Ford Explorer into Lundgren’s 3 days ago for an oil change and tire rotation.. He was supposed to take it on a road trip the next day and thankfully, he cancelle into Lundgren’s 3 days ago for an oil change and tire rotation.. He was supposed to take it on a road trip the next day and thankfully, he cancelled due to weather! It was driven a few miles and began to loudly thump. We brought it in to be checked out, apparently the lugs weren’t torqued enough. We were apologized to. But, this also happened to us a little over a year ago, but then the tire nearly put our vehicle in the ditch. Lungrens couldn’t get us in so we went to another repair shop, they needed to replace the lug nuts and pegs to the tune of 150.00. When we told Lundgrens’s, we were told sorry. Maybe this can happen once, but twice to the same vehicle? They suggested today that maybe it was a defective torque impact wrench-this wasn’t discovered in a years time on another vehicle? We were told the second time that the manager would call and make it right. He did call and my husband got an apology-great! I am sure glad that he wasn’t on his planned road trip and stranded in a snowstorm somewhere or worse! Everyone was friendly, but that only goes so far. More
