Where to begin? First, I’ve been dreaming about having another truck for quite some time now. For years, I’ve looked at both Chevrolet and GMC 1500 and 2500 models. I was interested with the GMC Sierra 2500 Denali model due to the overall looks and demeanor of it equipped with the diesel Allison engine. After some research and consideration, I realized that it is not best suited for what I needed it for since I do not have any fancy toys to haul it with. During one of my daughter’s softball games, I noticed the all-blackout truck sitting in the parking lot. Out of curiosity, I went ahead and checked it out and it was a GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation model. To my surprised, I really liked it (except for the black exterior color – just not my preference). I then began my research and did some deep dive in on the model and what packages and engine options it comes with it. After months of off/on reading, looking at images, and watching numerous videos, I was in a mission to finally (hopefully) make my dream come true (of course, it will have to go through the approval process from my Commander in Chief aka Wife). Upon further consideration of the overall financial situation and responsibilities I have, I proposed this idea to my wife which by the way, it was not the first time (me sounding like a broken record every time). Her feedback – if you can afford it without falling short of your responsibilities and still maintain the lifestyle that our family have, go ahead. Well, she didn’t have to tell me twice about it (LOL) which then started my journey of doing more research, but this time, it’s about the Elevation model with specific packages I want and their availability. I reached out to a total of “4” Buick/GMC dealership which has the highest rated customer reviews across the board within the 250 miles radius of Corona area. All 4 dealership have the similar Elevation model with the packages I was looking for except for exterior color choices (4 of 8 with black exterior color) . I emailed all 4 dealerships and received responses from all of them. But only Caposio Buick GMC dealership was able to provide a much clearer response. After some email exchanges made to all 4 dealerships, I decided to go with Caposio dealership. Internet sales director Jose Solario Jr. has been my contact since the beginning of this process. Throughout the communication stage, Jose has been prompt and was able to provide details to the questions I had. Day after Christmas, my wife asked if I would like to check out the truck. I then reached out to Jose and asked him for his availability, he responded promptly and stated that he is available that day anytime, he also included his cell number for ease of communication. Upon our arrival, the truck that I inquired for was waiting, staged, and ready for our viewing which is a plus already. I informed Jose that we’ve arrived, and he quickly stepped out the facility and met with us. Jose was thorough, professional, friendly, and a straight shooter. Throughout the stages of this purchase process, I say that it has been the quickest and smoothest transaction I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve owned quite a bit of new vehicles in the past 2 plus decades. I did not go with the GMC financing options since I had chosen Navy Federal Credit Union to handle the vehicle financing due to their competitive interest rates and unbeatable customer service (been a member for nearly 25 years and have used them to finance most if not all my vehicles throughout the years). Jose was made aware of this in the beginning stage of our communication. He also concluded that Navy Federal is one of the best credit unions that offers a very competitive – hard to beat interest rates. Overall, Jose and his team has been awesome!
