He did take a good amount off of the final service invoice which was very appreciated and needed. Sales staff are good but the whole process seems to take more time than necessary. We bought a used 2025 Pacifica van on a 'had to buy a vehicle' basis on July 22nd and used the bank that Pine Belt uses. We are not pleased with Fifth Third. They have one phone # for all their branches which means that when you call the 800 # there is a long wait and you have to repeat the same info whenever being transferred. With the purchase this past Friday, October 23rd of a new 2026 Jeep Cherokee SUV we knew better. We put 'hold $$' down and used USAA for the loan. From start to the check being in the mail took less than two hours. Fifth Third could learn a lot about being more customer friendly and accommodating. Needless to say, we won't use them ever again and will probably try and pay off that loan with them next year and re-finance with USAA. Also, when we came to pick up the Jeep we were again at the dealership for three hours and this shouldn't have been necessary since we had the loan check in hand and we had called ahead to get the last few things out of the car which hadn't been done and which we had to do ourselves.
