I am 78 years old and not a rich woman by any means, I work a full-time job and food and beverage industry. I bought my 2020 Camaro at Bartlesville Chrysler Dodge Jeep on July 1, it was as is. The trunk wasn’t opening so they said that it was a sensor in the trunk and now that was preventing the top from working. It had been working just fine up to that point. They had my car two days here two days there and weren’t getting anywhere with my car, so I decided to take it to patriot Chevrolet because I thought that a Chevy dealer would have a better chance of fixing it than Chrysler. I took my car to Patriot Chevrolet on August 24, I told him what Chrysler had said, and he said that they would fix it. Every day it was something different, the windows wouldn’t calibrate so that was what was stopping my convertible from going up or down. The next thing was that they needed a new body control module, then I needed to buy two new key fobs in order to program This new body control module . Now my price is up to $1285. I checked in with them every couple of days to see how it was going, and every time I called there was something else wrong. First, it was something like a bracket that was stopping the convertible top from going down, but they didn’t know what it was, then they just didn’t know what it was. Then they called me in on September 4 to show me what was wrong with my car, they said that there were parts on the internal part of the convertible that were broken. Now the price is upwards of $8000.00. I left in tears. Over the Labor Day weekend, I consulted with the Washington County public defender, a personal friend of mine. She referred me to two separate attorneys in town that would take care of this. On September 8, I sent a text message to patriot Chevrolet telling them that I wanted my car put back together repaired by the end of the week. at 9:30 Andrew, the service manager, called me and told me they were putting my car back together and that I could take it back to Chrysler to have it fixed. When I said OK he hung up on me. At 11:09 AM. he called me on the phone and told me that they put the old BCM back in and my car was totally put back together and everything was working perfectly, windows all trunk buttons and the top. he then texted me and told me that they were only charging me $496 and only charging me for the BCM and the key fob. No labor. He’s still charged me for the BCM. He said he did not replace. I will never go back to patriot Chevrolet, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know. More
